Nada AlYafei (b. 1990, Dubai) is an Emirati designer and brand strategist. She specializes in building bilingual brand systems and exhibition graphic design. Her professional experience spans 10+ years working for government entities, the military, and arts and culture non-profits. Her work has been exhibited internationally in group shows — Helmut Langer Poster Design Project (Cancún, 2011); SIKKA Art Fair (Dubai, 2014); Delusions and Errors (Dubai, 2017 and Luzern, 2018); 100 Best Arabic Posters (Abu Dhabi, 2018); and EXPO 2020 (Dubai, 2021). She has been awarded a Type Director’s Club Certificate for Typographic Excellence (2022) and a feature in the Communication Arts Typography Annual (2023). She has participated in the Schule für Gestaltung Basel’s summer program as well as the Publication Intensive at Triple Canopy in New York. Nada received her bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from the College of Architecture, Art, and Design at the American University of Sharjah and her master’s degree in Branding from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
